I've spent many years moving about the area, experiencing and documenting a visual journal that keeps track of special times and places. The play of light and shadow is a very important element in my work. Captured glowing colors add a dramatic impact to my paintings in oil, pencil, pastel, watercolor and acrylic.
Born in Yoakum, Texas, I have also lived in Maryland, New Jersey, Oklahoma, and Georgia and have traveled extensively throughout the United States, Europe, Canada, Jamaica, and the Caribbean. I have a deep love for the Lord and believe that all credit for my talent was given by God - a gift to be used for the enjoyment of others. My large oil paintings with religious themes contribute to the worshipful atmosphere of several local churches.
I currently belong to the Southern Colours Art Association, the Southeastern Pastel Society, and the Buford Artists Group.
